Carlsbad rejects Yuppie lagoon mall. Would Encinitas do the same?

Carlsbad voters rallied a grass roots campaign to defeat LA developer Caruso Affilated's plan to build a big weird mall thingy on the last of Carlsbad's remaining lagoon open space.

 Eventually Caruso or a similar developer will turn their soulless eyes towards sleepy, funky little Leucadia.

 Will non-Leucadian voters in Encinitas, New Encinitas, Cardiff and Olivenhain rally to Leucadia's aide and vote down any similar proposals?

 Let's hope.

Leucadia Parents: Beware of Creepy child touching lady

911 was called on this woman this morning. She approached cars and tried to touch kids through the windows.
This occurred at the Leucadia Blvd and Hwy 101 intersection.
Local Leucadia parents have been concerned about her for months and months.
She has a history of trying to engage kids at Beacon's Beach.
If you see her call the cops and report a "suspicious person" and give them the case number. They are looking for her.
She seems like a normal nice woman at first glance. She will erupt in screaming obscenities when told to go away.
Her name may be Joy.

Carlsbadians should Vote NO on A

Carlsbad voters would be wise to vote NO on prop A. 

Keep the malls away from the lagoon and preserve open space. 

Encinitas voters should watch the Carlsbad vote carefully.
