JP, Take a deep breath. They aren't going to take my home either. Since we are trying to get funds to fix drainage, railroad crossings, etc., I have to admit, I like the idea of keeping an extra $1,000,000 a year of taxes that would be paid anyhow, here in Leucadia where we could use it. But, as we all know, the devil is in the details.-Dan

Mayor, City of Encinitas
Wanna bet that Dan's house ends up outside the redevelopment district (is that why he knows they aren't going to take his house too)
ReplyDeleteOK, I'll try this again. I just got kicked out, so I'll keep this shorter.
ReplyDeleteWe are disappointed in Dan Dalager, DD. Although he is mayor, he does not take the lead. He seems to let Christy Guerin do that. Too often, also, Council, including Dan, throws speakers off by interrupting, speaking with lawyers, or otherwise distracting speakers, who are only allowed 3 minutes during oral communications.
Dan's home looks as though he is the process of redeveloping it. This is fine, but we do not need funds so desparately as to make those without expensive lawyers, including "bond counsel" suffer for the exploitations and greed of a privileged few.
