Making the worse intersection along the coast even uglier, NCTD fenced in one of its utility boxes. East Berlin style. Coincidentally, the Leucadia Town Council had been seeking permission to have an artist paint the box.
At some point it is time for Jerome Stocks to come out and explain to the people of Leucadia that NCTD will never give into greasy rats and drug addicts and that they just don't give crap.
I saw this being constructed today. It took a crew of 5 to put up this silly ugly fence. What is NCTD afraid of? Retaliation for their efforts to cut down every tree in Leucadia on their pathetic blighted rite of way. It is time to put the pressure on NCTD to stop the cutting of our trees with out sufficient notice. They should be required to build 1000 feet of trail along their easement for every tree they have cut down or will cut down in the future. Who determines how a tree may be in danger of falling anyway? I don't remember that many falling down on their own.

Our City Council should opppose this blight. did they put up the same ass ugly fence along every intersection or just Leucadia?

ReplyDeleteThat is just the start. When we have the underground railroad tunnels shoved down our throat and people don't use them, a fence such as this will be erected from Batiquitos to the Cardiff slough on both sides of the track. You think NCTD or Stocks cares about us?
