I had to laugh because after all the grief I've been getting over the word FUNKY on this blog that I actually felt pressured to change the name from KEEP LEUCADIA FUNKY to the less controversial (but funnier) KEEP TACOS YUMMY (which just confused people so now the blog is simply called Leucadia!)
Man, I thought all you developer yuppie nazis hated the word FUNKY. What gives???

Funky was fine. What counts, to me, is the leucadia.blogspot.com address, anyway.
I wouldn't let a few pretentious snobs talk me out of using the funk word, though. Yeah, tacos are yummy, but I prefer burritos.

We are going to get some free food, enjoy Cottonwood Creek Park, somewhere between 11:00 and 4:00. After all, the taxpayers are paying for this. I hope the band will be okay.
We decided not to go to the Community Center $10.00 per plate dinner tonight, as Coast News said it was by invitation only, too, and when we asked at City Hall, the receptionist knew nothing about it, and the clerk said they had received invitations. We didn't, of course. I would not want Christy Guerin to have anybody arrested, or "escorted" out of a public building, again, or put in a chokehold, all done by the City, through Bossypants, on her wicked "watch." Sigh.
I hear the next Candidate's Forum is Oct. 4 at the old Olivenhein Meeting House, at 7:00 P.M.
Last one was too tame. Cardiff was more lively, with questions directly from the audience.
