  1. Click on the link Ron Paul will join Ralph Nader and learn a little truth.

Flunkies like Jerome Stocks are just robots to those developers that give him donations.

I for one will be voting for a third party because its clear to me that the current two parties are destroying this country.

Don't throw away your vote on a Democrat or Republican or a Republictrat, vote for real change for for a third party.

  2. I am new to the area. Someone please help me. Why isn't there a public bathroom in the road side park at Leucadia Boulevard?

I hate peeing and pooping in the bushes which tends to upset the adjacent neighbors.

Gotta go.... I heard one of my friends just lifted a bottle of Crown..... Fun times ahead.

  3. Wow. I just went to the City's website to check out the candidates financial contributions.

It looks like money nows were to go to get favors.

Check out all the developers and people who live outside of Encinitas supporting Jerome Stocks. $12,000 plus....What gives?

  4. didn't Nader spoil the election for Gore? Didn't he spoil more than one election? And, who the heck is Ron Paul -- any relation to Raul Paul? Is Nader really running again, and why?

  5. lissen, my little pretties..this is NOT a high school election where you can vote for an Oddity to "make a statement" and you will be front page news filler on your high school newspaper. A third party vote is not only useless, it's ignorant. If you vote for Ron Paul, he will not be elected. He is not the Republican's choice for Presidential race. Fact. Get over it, will ya? The election, as it is, right now, is not structured for three parties. That's just the way it is. I don't like it, but this year, that's the scenario.

Do you really think your "protest vote" will be acknowledged or admired by anyone? Or used as constructive information? Or data? Are you really that naive?

Math-wise, your third party vote is really taking away votes from someone else who really needs it.

  6. Democrats took both houses of congress in the last election. What did they do? Voting for a democrat is voting for more of the same.

Mathwise, in a state like California a huge number of people can vote for a third party and make no difference at all to the outcome of the election. We are not a swing state. California is going to the democratic candidate.

  7. Democrats and Republicans parties control this country and ran it into the ground.

Anyone voting for either of these two failed parties is voting against their county.

Don't throw away your vote, vote for anyone besides a democrat or republlcan. Its so funny, now there is even a comedy series about how the two are the same, its call "Republicrat"

  8. Feel free to continue the hate mail, but I will try to save you some keystrokes.

Don't interpret my post as an endorsement. Nader is coming to Encinitas. That is totally noteworthy, and an interesting balance to so many little issues dealt with here on this blog. It is also a great opportunity for you to take your homegrown organic tomatoes and throw them at Nader in person.

I do have a lot of respect for people like Ron Paul and Nader. That does not mean I subscribe to his positions. Those two have been warning of a coming financial crisis and out of balance power of the federal reserve, which decided to keep the housing bubble growing. They have also been willing to act, even in the face of ridicule from much of congress. They were willing to say things that were not popular because they thought it was the right thing to do.

They try to change the system so that country comes first.

  9. Ron Paul who is a “Real” Republican called this financial collapse exactly accurate. And what he proposes is the only way to save this country from becoming full economic collapse and lose of Liberty and our constitutional rights.

The fake republicans just keep borrowing more money from the Asians to financially support their corporate friends at the expense of the naive public.

Jerome Stock and McCain are perfect examples of these fake Republicans.

Do something right for our country, vote against the current mistakes ruining our country. Vote for someone other than a democrat or republican.

  10. Since its inception, the CPD has always been headed by two former chairs of the Democratic and Republican parties. In 1987, the League of Women Voters refused to sponsor any more presidential debates, "because the demands of the two campaign organizations would perpetrate a fraud on the American voter."

The Nader/Gonzalez Campaign is on a mission to open these debates for third party candidates, and bring back democracy to the American Voters!
