The prophet Isaiah said: "Woe to you legislators of infamous laws ... who refuse justice to the unfortunate, who cheat the poor among my people of their rights, who make widows their prey and rob the orphan."
I patiently await a press release from the Encinitas city council announcing an end to closed session meetings and cronyism with consultants and contractors.
Thanks to my neighbor Jim for the quote.

ReplyDelete"Has the Leucadia Town Council Killed It's Momentum?? "
ReplyDeleteJP, on that post, as blog administrator, in honor of brotherhood and sisterhood of funky leucadia bloggers, please remove that part that contains the hate mongering language, supposedly by Bob Johnson, retired social worker.
Although I am a student of double entendre and reverse psychology, I believe this part of the post has had the opposite effect of what may have been intended!!!
In fact, my signifcant other, surfer too, became significantly disturbed; my sharing this with him nearly ruined our Thanksgiving.
Fortunately, we still ended up having a lovely dinner, finally, celebrating our blessings with family and friends. We know you did too.
We believe in freedom of speech, and all our other personal, inalienable liberties, with the provision that we can strive to cause no harm.
We cannot prevent some from harming themselves. We do not have to spread their dis-ease, lack of peace and joy.
Please help us heal, with love. Hate divides, destroys.
In the spirit of the season, and this great blogg, please delete part of that post!!!
It's not J.P.'s fault Bob Johnson and Dan Dalager both hate jews.

ReplyDeleteThe mayor wants to limit the public speaking time at council meetings from 3 minutes to 2 minutes. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteTurn your TV's to Channel 5 LA and notice that Hollywood ,that is way more liberal, way more gay and has way more Jewish dudes in charge has a.....CHRISTMAS PARADE!...... and its on right now. I hope the Leucadia Clown Cell is watching.
ReplyDeleteHey at least Dan changing the name of the parade didn't cost anything. I was waiting for a $500,000 contract to be awarded to the official parade name changer consultant.
ReplyDeleteThe name change will end up costing big bucks wait until the ACLU and the Leucadia Town Clown Cell sue.
