  1. Yes, Seasons's Greetings, Happy Holidays, Goodwill to All, and Peace on Earth.

May we learn from our own mistakes, and the mistakes of others, too, and work toward reconciliation and compassion. I am grateful for all our blessings, like being able to participate on this blog, freedom of expression, diversity of community.

  2. I hope everyone has a great holiday. Thanks J.P. for this forum that allows us to keep up on the goings on in our town.

p.s. I apologize to those who were offended by tone and language of my post last evening following a holiday happy hour at a neighbors. Feliz Navidad

  3. Happy Holidays to all. I truly hope everyone has a joyful and peaceful New Year. Thank you J.P. for letting us all vent and write what we think on this blog. It must take a lot of your time, and I, for one, value it very much. As the Masai people would say, Ahsante Sana.

    May God bless us all.

  7. J.P. you are my official Kwanzaa elf, as you created something out of nothing.

    Thanks for making a difference.

  8. Yea this blog really makes a difference. It lets all the naysayers and whiners have a place to vent their frustrations. Perhaps they should be doing it at city council where it might make a difference.

  9. Happy Holidays JP and to all the peace seeking humans!

I hope god blesses all the other animals on the earth who are getting squeezed out by overpopulation. I hope the Pope give the world a Christmas present and announce birth control is a good think. My heart goes out to the drowning polar bears.

  11. ...the key word is "might", Anonymous. If the citizens had evidence that the City Council really listened to us, there would be more respect for them. If the citizens were treated with more respect by the City Staff, there would be more respect for them as well, and lastly, if the newspapers covered 100% of everything going on at City Hall, we wouldn't need this blog as much, but we do. Obviously, the bloggers on this site ARE going to meetings, as one can see. The only one who is whining is YOU, Anonymous.

  12. Dear anonymous after anonymous,

It sure sounds like you're whining about another blogger whining. Maybe we should start whiners anonymous.

  13. If everyone was open, honest, above board, maybe we would have nothing to talk about, here.

I am grateful for all posters, and I think the ones who are so quick to post about others so-called "whining," are City Council people or lobbyists, such as Aceti, or ex Council members or their family members, such as the Guerins, who can't stay away.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year to one and all, including those complaining about the so-called "whiners." I'm grateful people do vent and share here, because we do learn new info not available in the SDUT or the NCT, or Coast News.

JP, you do us all a service, and for that I'm grateful.

  14. Some people call others names, anonymously, and point their anonymous fingers. Remember, when you point a finger at me, you are pointing three right back at yourself.

Go enjoy your egg nog, and stop complaining about people expressing their opinions, here; stop complaining about whiners, when you are one!

  15. Yep, some like to call other people naysayers and whiners; this won't make people stop from commenting here.

Many of us question authority when it is acting behind closed doors to show elitism, favortism, and lack of integrity. Simple.

Thank you for posting on the Leucadia Blog.
There is nothing more powerful on this Earth than an anonymous opinion on the Internet.
Have at it!!!
