  1. Thanks J.P for the mention of the event.

The “Rods and Woodies” series are really nice community events celebrating the hayday of Hwy 101 and the great automotive design of the 40s, 50s, 60s and yes the 70's.

The 80s and the K car, Well, let's pretend that never happened. No offense to those who drive a K car.

This Thursday’s event celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the legendary “57 Chevy.” The series sponsors in Moonlight Motors, This Thursdays event is sponsored by Road One Towing and the host car club is the "Heartbeat Classics" a Chevy club. I have heard from the club that the best award winning"57 Chevy" in the nation will be at the event. It's a 57 Chevy Nomad.

Hope to see everyone downtown, it’s a fun night.

    Cheers

    Peder

  3. With global warming, endangered rain forest, snaildarters losing their homes. People have the time to go to see gas guzzling mid-life crisis toys of white chauvanistic capitalistic neandrathal men.Gentlemen start your engines, forget your carbon footprint.Do some burn outs.

  4. Drag racing did not work out so well in Tennesee last weekend...

Did anyone see the Monster Truck in the Holiday Parade a few years ago where the driver got pulled out of the truck by Sherrifs for driving drunk and being wild during the parade?

  6. anon 334,

You don't have any idea how fun hotrods are do you?

Don't forget that every gallon conserved here in the USA is another gallon used up in India and China.

  7. Road One Towing is the tow company that hauls your car away when the chairiffs(that's who my spanish speaking bums friend pronounce the word)bust your for DUI. They earn big bucks impounding your car. They impound your car on a Saturday night and are closed on Sunday so you get to pay for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. That's if you can get off work and down to get your car. Also you need to pay cash or credit card only, no checks accepted, so off to the bank you go and if you don't have the cash well then that's another day you get to pay for.....and so on and so on and so on....

RSPB- they let that diesel engine idle for hours until they get call, really keeps you awake if you are trying to sleep in the bushes!!!
