Encinitas former mayor and current city councilman Jerome Stocks is one of the bloggers over at SD Rostra. His latest post is a classic hissy fit of epic proportions. He completely wigs out over a mailer he received from The Young Republicans asking for money for their Christmas party, which was signed by Joe Sheffo who ran for Encinitas city council against Stocks in 2008. *whew*

ReplyDeleteTwo yahoos, with nothing better to do. Stocks should be combing the city books looking for places to cut costs as city sales tax revenues are down 25% from 2008 and still falling. How will the city pays it's bills??

With health care a certainty now,(oh great more big govt) watch for Stocks to lose more and more insurance customers. How will he compensate?? Raise his salary as a council man and pension also. I say within the next 12-18 months.

I just read the Parks and Recreation Commission's agenda for Nov., 17, 2009. in it as an agenda report it says: Subject: Formatiton of the Women's World Longboard Championships subcommittee. City Council is asking the Parks and Rec. Commission to research the feasibility of permitting this WWLB here in Encinitas. It doesn't say anything about Swami's.

Bonds (debt), bailout(debt), printing money and buying our own debt( stealing money from every US citizen by devaluing our currency we hold in our banks). You all get me sick. Especially, Jerome..... ReplyDeleteI am definitely for that. One or two terms would be perfect. Cut the complacent "politicians" only interested in re-elections and not the communities best interest.
