From the NCTimes:
Attorney Kevin Forrester, who served as president of the Olivenhain Town
Council in the early 1990s; printing company account executive Tony
Kranz, who ran for council two years ago; Shoja Naimi, owner of the Roxy
Restaurant in downtown Encinitas; and Lisa Shaffer, who teaches at the
U.C. San Diego Rady School of Management, all have picked up papers.
Tony Kranz is like Busby was to Bilbrey - the perennial loser. His ideas are good, but his campaign weak and disorganized. At a debate, he looked uncomfortable and did not work the crowd. Old fatty $tock$ will be cruising to another victory with the big special interest bucks propelling him onward - $$ does buy elections.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're wrong about Stocks. We're still hopeful he can be ousted.
ReplyDeleteKranz is good on open government, but we disagree with him on some of the issues. We support Lisa Shaffer. I'd like to know more about Kevin Forrester. I know who Shoja is . . . But I don't recall seeing him at Council Meetings?
Forrester was a contributor for Stocks previous election campaign. He is a real estate attorney. Watch out Encinitas, the "paved paradise" club could be getting stronger.
