  1. J.P.: Congratulations! You may be having a bigger impact than even you know. I was talking with a city councilperson last week, and this person let slip a piece of information which has only been publicly mentioned on your blog. I suspect everyone on the council is reading your blog. And one or more are probably posting too!!

Great job giving some of us great pleasure in seeing what other people think. Your site lets anyone see the pulse of our community.

  3. Thank you so much J.P. This is a great forum for everyone, not just a select few. Hope you can keep it going for another year. I'm sure we all have plenty to say for decades! At least we can post it here. Great job. I read it every day and enjoy all of the comments.

  4. I read it everyday I can, too. Great stuff JP, all. This is a good place to vent, to practice community activism. One doesn't have to be a government employee or lobbyist to have a voice.

I really liked some of the later comments on the previous post, too. I hope people check the last couple of posts by JP, and the comments, so they don't miss the pearls of wisdom, some nuggets of gold among the dross, the bs put out by Aceti and some of those who do ad hominem attacks against our good citizens, our activists. Is this you, Christy? Jerome?

I am still thanking the Encinitas Taxpayers Association, too, including Bill Rodewald and Bob Bonde. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who cares and gets involved, spending many hours, much selfless effort with our only motive being to help preserve our community character. I am including my thanks to Mary Fleener, who gave an excellent presentation at oral communications at the Council Meeting before last about squirrel poisoning debacle. I miss your comics!

    We love you guys!

  5. It started with a weekly peek late at night after the wife and kids were fast asleep. Now I find myself looking in two, three, four times a day.
    Great work J.P.

  6. This blog is great but J.P let's way too much stuff slide. JP post some of the juicy stuff!

  7. J.P. your blog helped us to form the fan club, helped us praise our leader in a public format, helped us realize how misguided we were, helped us distance ourselves from the guy.

Now can you help us unload all of the T-shirts and bumper stickers. Not even Father Joe will take them and my roomate says he wants his half of the garage back.

  8. Thanks J.P.

My only questions is do you ever sleep or has this blog taken over your life?

  9. I actually spend very little time on this blog. I wish I could update it everyday.
Thanks for reading everyone, I appreciate it. That goes for everyone that hates me too. Remember, just because we disagree on stuff doesn't mean we can't be friends.

Thank you for posting on the Leucadia Blog.
There is nothing more powerful on this Earth than an anonymous opinion on the Internet.
Have at it!!!
