This just in from city hall: They said this action was approved in the plan for the A Street project and as soon as the infrastructure is laid below, a like tree will replace the one in the picture. But when some trees on 101 are posted with plenty of warning and others are not, I have to wonder if it wasn't the billboard folks again wanting better visibility for their enormous signs. So I am deputizing anyone who sees a white truck "trimming" trees near any of the 8 billboards on N. Coast Hwy 101. Keep your cameras handy. Especially on the weekends. They'll be back. The trees they've hacked up before are beginning to look normal again.
If you did this you would be arrested.
