  1. What?? AS a cartographer I can tell you that map SUCKS!! I could draw a better map with my eyes closed in my sleep, under the influence of heavy narcotics.

It's no wonder this city is in such poor shape.

  3. Ecke Sphere! as in atmosphere? What is this, an oligarchy?

Ya, ya a word not used much in the corporate press.

  5. Not to add to the biiach-session, but, really, what ARE the Leucadia bounderies? Map is not clear. Enc. Blvd. to La Costa makes sense. Is that correct? The map looks like it goes just to the middle of the Cottonwood park...

  6. The real map is buried somewhere in Leucadia.

  7. The best part is Lynn actually lives in Encinitas Not LEUCADIA... Encinitas she is your problem not ours.

  9. Obviously, no one really knows where Leucadia begins and ends...

  12. Judging by where Orpheus hits Vulcan on the map, it looks like Leucadia's official southern boundary is Union St. just north of Central School.

  13. Nope, nobody knows where Leucadia begins or ends, and we're gonna keep it that way.

  14. Click on the map to make it bigger. The boundary is west to east on Union Street to Saxony. That means Maggie lives in Old
    Encinitas.

Common sense would say it's north of Sylvia and Cottonwood Creek park on the west side of I-5.

And Union Street on the east side of the freeway if we want to keep Maggie in exile.

Leucadians named the dirt of the two laned Zeus Avenue that went from the Batiquitos Lagoon to Noonan Point where Cardiff begins. Fourty Five years later the state renamed it 101. If not for the influence of Lupita Encinita, it would all still be Leucadia. When I find her family tree, I will see if JP will post it.

  16. You don't need a map! Isn't it the area with the crappy railroad tracks flanked by a huge dead zone, inconsistent zoning with poor infrastructure?

More simply, it is the dumpy area between Encinitas and Carlsbad.

  17. The last post sounds like something Jerome Stocks would say. He rather have Encinitas look like a Carlsbox Jr.

  19. Leucadia is where all the skunks live.

  20. Nah, we got real stinky skunks in old Encinitas and some are real fixtures at the City.
