Sea Turtle Sighting

Tropical Turtle Photo Credit: Fred Sharples.

Here's another reason to get out and enjoy our town's greatest natural asset. Sea turtle(s) have been seen along the edge of the surf zone, near our reef breaks. Perhaps, the warm water (pushing 70 degrees) has the turtles venturing out from their San Diego Bay hideout.

  2. Will the opportunistic sand dumps cover our reefs in sand?

  4. Wow, sure is a lot of Carlsbad hatin' going on at this blog. Encinitas has a much cooler downtown scene going on, and lots of funky pretty hippy chicks. Do you really want to be a multi-plex and strip mall city? San Marcos for God's sake? Be careful what you ask for. Chamber types don't give a crap about citizen quality of life, only increased revenues for business owners.

You guys should put in a competing indoor go-kart track in that empty Home Depot building - that sh*t is fun!!
