I'm digging the snazzy Leucadia stamps in the new sidewalks. I especially like the tree stamp. It didn't take our new sidewalks long to get dirty, but it's mostly ash from the fires.
The sidewalks seem nice and the stamps are a nice touch. Question?
Why did they show a tree on the stamp?
Wouldn't a polar bear be more appropriate?
If you wanted to show what Leucadia looks like today, you could show a dust bowl with memorials of dead victems along the side of the road like the Toll Road down in Mexico.
It should read Leucadia- The cut through expressway for Carlsbad.
Like the sidewalks much needed addition. I also like the Leucadia tree stamp, however the HWY 101 stamp reeks of commercialism and goes against the Leucadian culture.

Hee Hee-
aaaaaaww....Too Cute!
ReplyDeleteI love Leucadia's HW101. Its much faster than I5. I wish they'd pull out that 4 way stop, so I could really put the pedal to the metal!
Its an easy 50mph cruise with no cops in sight- EVERRRR. YEAH BABY!!!
I think under the symbol of Leucadia HW101 it should read:
"The Encinitas Express Lanes for I5"
Visiting this Thursday through Sunday
