HI I`m steve owner of daphnes corner, thanks to bev rilling two doors north for painting the daphne corner sign that hangs in the tree. every time I fill up the fountain I feel a bit guilty with the water shortage, to compensate a bit I`m doing part of my yard in native plants, peeing in the pond is cool as long as no one sees and then thinks your a pervert but remember the birdys drink from there thanks for posting a pic steve
Plant a citrus tree for the peeing kind, the uric acid is actually good for the plants and the pee-ers can still be midly mischevious -- put a "Pee On Me" sign next to the tree -- one with a little doggie raising his leg. Then install a video security camera, think of the blackmail footage you will get.
Any chance of getting a blog posting and some discussion about that video/art/ceramic/sparkly/... thing on Neputne? You know, the one with the mirror inside that looks like a Martian mailbox or something? When it was first put up it had an instructional sign saying that it had a video camera in it for people to talk about whatever they wanted. Anybody know where we can find that collection of randomness on YouTube?
That's Neptune's Portal. I wondered what it was for years, until one night walking by it I noticed a glow inside. Led to the light I peered inside and the light grew brighter. Later I learned if you press on the button outside of it, you can leave a message. It's the only FREE attraction I know about in Leucadia and I recommend it to everyone. It's muy cool.
The Strange Thing 101 roadside attraction will still cost you a quarter, however.
