Council owns me a 35% reduction in Council Retirement. Please include a reduction of Employees 35% as well back to the 2005 level, before Stocks, Houlihan, Dalager and Guerin hookwinked the public.

The Citizens trying to stop the unions and developers better start donating money to viable candidates. We know the developers and unions will throw $50k behind their next puppet Ho.
In good old USA, citizens point of view don't matter. Its all about the money. So next time in 2012. Get out your wallet and donate, spend some time and get out and educate how corrupt Jerome Stocks is and how his actions are bankrupting Encinitas, and DON't be so complacent. Lets get Term Limits!
Dr. Lorri has her own set of problems at the moment, I'm not thinking she is going to be as outspoken as she once was, at least not when the cameras are rolling.
We definitely need to find someone else to represent us as Dr. Lori may soon be a convicted thief and lose her license to practice. Not smart to get caught on video stealing. How embarrassing!
We can/need to do better than this if we are going to take back our City in 2012.

Also, it's interesting that Bond was calling from Las Veaga and Maggie was present for every meeting even with cancer. In short, he did exactly what he said he didn't want to do. "Leave Teresa out in the corn field by purposefully eliminating her from the mayor seat." So much for fairness.
For a long long time Encinitas has had a tradition as to how the mayor is selected. Last year Jerome Stocks changed the tradition by denying Teresa Barth her turn in the rotation. This year he has done it again. This is about spite and and does an injustice to a council member that not only has to put up with his power plays and bullying but one who has worked very hard for Encinitas. Go to a Council meeting. When each council member lists their activities for the week it is always Teresa who has the longest list. She is always there at council meetings as well as at all kinds of city an community events. She has a website that is totally non political that calls out articles and activities about our city. I know it is hard to always find time to go to council meetings but if we do not pay attention we get the likes of Jerome Stocks, James Bond, Dan Dalager and Kristin Gaspar.
I was glad to see so many people at the last council meeting. We need to wake up and pay attention to what these guys are doing. What happened in Bell could happen here where you have three people control the Council and therefore the city. I am so disappointed in Ktistin Gaspar she has no experience, has had no interest in city affairs, could not even attend council meetings and reads a prepared statement and then has the gall to say that she knew nothing about the pre-arranged vote. Sorry Kristin, like jerome Stocks we do not believe you.
No one works harder for this city than Teresa Barth. She has attended more workshops and conferences, spends time researching city issues and is enthused about civics. Just check out her website and newsletters which are full of links and information on city activities as well as larger issues like green technology in public buildings and housing. No one else puts out that kind of effort, certainly not 30 year old Kristin Gaspar who has not bothered to attend a council before last night.
It is truly frustrating and nauseating to hear Kristin talk about how long and hard she thought about bypassing Barth who has been waiting her turn to be mayor while nominating old Jim Bond who was mayor before Kristin hit elementary school. Kristin shouldn't even bother to show up at council meetings, just let Jerome Stocks have two votes because that is what is going to happen anyway.
Jim Bond's explanation that he didn't vote for Barth to be mayor because he didn't like the way Dan was treated is sophomoric. The public's outrage over Dan's behavior had nothing to do with Barth. Dan's ethical violations were self-admitted, not unfounded accusations and for Bond to continually defend Dan's actions reveals more about his lack of judgement and ethical code.
Someone told me that Maggie and Teresa discuss a plan to vote for Teresa for Mayor and put Jim on the spot by revealing his earlier comments (2009)to support her. If this is true and I believe this person, then didn't Maggie violate the Brown Act by then talking to both Jim and Teresa?
I'm trying to get my friend to come forward.
Keep in mind that Teresa DID NOT violate the Brown Act ONLY Maggie.
