This was taken at Grandview stairs right before the invasion of Iraq. North County women are activists who care about our world. A surfer who descended the stairs that morning said, " And I almost went to Trestles!" http://www.barewitness.org/photoalbum/SanDiego.htm
That weird sandbar in the bottom picture, with the mini lake behind it, is made up of all that ocnstruction dirt. dig about 2 inches below the surface and it is orange. I hope no one gets hurt on that sandbar during middle tides.
The colors have been amazing. It makes you remember why we don't want to screw this place up.
ReplyDeleteWhere did all the sand go?
ReplyDeleteWow, JP, the water looks awful! Where's the dirt? It's gone!
ReplyDeleteLooks great!

ReplyDeleteDon't walk near the shore line. It is like quicksand. I sunk in just below my knee. Oh yea and watch out for the boulders and broken roofing tiles.
