How come the folks weeding the medians didn't take them down. They are litter?
Whenever I come across illegal signing in our right-of-way ,like real estate signs every 5 feet stating open house 10 blocks away, I pick them up and throw them out.
Come on and join the fun! When you see an illegal sign in the public right of way. Pick it up and throw it out. At least kick it over!
I think the City code enforcement should call the offenders and tell them they need to get a Encinitas business license and if they don't immediately pick up their illegal signs, they will be cited and fined for litter. On most streets, that’s $1000.
Call Code Enforcement 633-2628. They pick up any and all signs they are told about. Unfortunately, they don't drive around and look for them. If you call and tell them the location of the signs, they will get them. And yes, they will call the phone # and tell them they will be fined if it continues. I've done it many times and Code Enforcement always takes care of the signs. Barbara
Has anyone noticed that Barrett has set up a information shop for new houses on the corner of Quail Gardens and Encinitas Blvd. -- which new houses are these -- I think I am going to be sick.....

ReplyDeleteAnyone saying "get a life," is usually a flamer . . . sitting in judgment, while himself reading the blog.
No reason to call code enforcement on a sign like that. Just put it in the nearest recycling bin.
