Houlihan is no more courageous than any other person fighting cancer. As a mayor she leaves much to be desired. In that she has been lead by the nose by so many for so long, we can only hope she develops into something more than she has shown.
So wrong, Maggie has provided this community with countless hours of service, far beyond what she is required in her civic duties. She is truly a quality person who selflessly cares for others.
Ok, sometimes we don't agree, and sometimes I find her a little long-winded, and sometimes she has been contentious...but she has always been true to herself, unlike many other political types.
There is a great speakers series on cancer and health I guess Maggie put together that started last Friday at the library. Very informative; well worth the time. Really appreciate your efforts during this difficult time Maggie; you looked great Friday!
Courageous is the only word I can think of to describe Maggie. You go girl!
