American Quick Print, a native Leucadian started in the current Sub Palace building then moved to NE corner of E Street and 101 and now back in Leucadia. What a survivor. I support 'em and you should to,. especially those naysayers of the community like L_n....
I think it is a great idea to support local bussinesses and services, if it is at all possible. It might be cool to start posting as many local businesses as we can on this blog. Perhaps J.P. could add to what he already has done? Sort of a Craig's list of Encinitas business and services. It could also include medical doctors, dentists, chiroprators, psychologists, accupuncturists, as well as places like Seaside Market, Ellie's tailoring etc. We could rate them and share experiences we have had with them. There could also be a section for people who have home based businesses, such as the publisher who lives across the street from me, or ther Mary Kay rep who also lives on my street. We could use a 5 star rating system or somethig like that to suggest which one we thought was better than another one. The Chamber groups certain business types together so we could also do it that way. Just a thought. What do others think?
Well said Lynn. ehh err I mean Annonymous. Except for the balls part. No one wants to hear that. But do I lead by example? No. And it should read "Buy Local E". Buying Local L means something entirely else and is illegal.
If you are needing a quick bbq solution, go to the meat counter at el torito and try one of the varieties of pollo asado, grab some tortillas and veggies and you are golden. Costs about 1/8 of what you would pay at seaside market. Then go to quick print and have them print up some fliers for your garage sale so you can get enough money to buy some beer for that bbq.

ReplyDeleteIf you are going to be malicious and resentful at someone, at least have the balls to sign your own, coward.

I always do my shopping in Encinitas. My hippy parents gave me a funny name.

quick print costs about double what you can get the same job for at Anderson's Stationary. So don't think you are getting a deal there.
