Next time you see the Mormon missionaries walking past, offer to buy them a burrito or give them some food. The Mormon church only gives them $130 per month food allowance. $4+ per day. What a ripoff!! The Mormon church collects $400 per month from the missionary families. What happens to the other $270 per month??
The Obama video was made by Bob Dylan's son, Jesse Dylan. I thought this piece of trivia was intersting so thought I would pass it on. Obama and Clinton are now virtually tied nationally, according to the PEW foundation, one of the largest non-profit polling companies in the U.S. This is a huge change from January when Clinton was way ahead of Obama. Many people believe that this change is due to the Move-On organization, who just endorsed Obama about a week ago, and younger voters. If nothing else, this election has brought out more voters than most elections in the past. So, J.P., even if Ron Paul doesn't win, he does have the third largest ranking among Republicans, according to the PEW folks. Not bad for a person who has so little national media exposure. He is definitely an articulate and seemingly compassionate man. Perhaps he may end up as V.P. on the Republican ticket, if he doesn't make it on the Presidential bid. This voting activity will also be good for our own City Council elections. Perhaps we may just be able to get at least one more person who actually cares about what is going on in Encinitas on the Council. Two would be truly a victory.
Obama and Ron Paul is my dream ticket. Obama is hopeful, cool and exciting and Ron Paul is an expert on the founding fathers and the constitution. Sounds wacky but so am I.
You better put Ron Paul as President and Obama as VP…. I could vote for that…..
Sound fiscal policy is much more important than being cool, or playing good music, or giving free health care, welfare, and social security to everyone that thinks about coming to America.
Get your priorities straight. Without sound fiscal policy, the US will fall very quickly and you can kiss all the freebee luxuries we Americans take for granted. Like posting on this blog or voting.

Free healthcare? Great! If you think it's expensive now, wait till it's free! Will the 20,000,000 Crimmigrants be eligible for "free" healthcare, too? Or will they just continue to show up at the emergency room for their free healthcare? How many months will i have to wait for an appointment? Six? Eight? Free healthcare will bankrupt the US faster than stupid wars ever did.
