President Obama

  1. How is our debt doing and what can he do to reduce our debt?

    phssssst-

the only good thing is bush is going, McCain is not president, and we can get out of Iraq.

Once the Country realizes its heading for bankruptcy and china owns us, we might begin to elect people like Ron Paul.

God help America, we need it.

  2. I agree with the9:36-

We are fucked. Debt doubled in the last 4 years. Our state is in big trouble, and our City is in Big debt.

Our City Council has fucked us, and the dumb shits of Encinitas reelect the morons.

wow- don't expect me to show any of you morons any respect. You deserve what you get.

  3. Most libertarians know nothing about Economics. Lack of regulation led to the Economic downfall. There's no such thing as an "invisible hand" or a true "free-market" economy.

    Greed <> Prosperity

    Grow the fuck up.

  4. You Humans crack me up.

I never realized how clueless you all are.

keep on Borrowing. In fact, I would borrow another 20 or 50 million for that sports complex you want to build. Who cares, you won't need to pay it back. Your grand kids will and they will never understand that Grandpa fucked them.

I hope you like Chinese food. Suckers!!!!

Keep living on other people and above your means. See how that works out.

You are clueless and a part of the problem.

You will be the first one I punch in the face.

  6. Yeah 10:19-

the old Democrats and Republicans really know Economics. That’s why everything is stellar in America.

You Republicrats are clueless and will always look for your free ride.

Well hate to break it to you, but tough times ahead.

Asia will not continue financing our consumption Nation knowing we cannot pay it back.

  7. wow. Looks like Bob was the spoiler again. Oh well, I hope Jerome pays you well for that one Bob.

    I could not agree more.

Third strike and your out. See ya Bob!

Bob is a pawn and will always be used by pro development, see also chamber of commerce,to sucker off votes from viable (not Bob) candidates.

The only Q is will Bob ever admit to this and see the light.

    I think not.

Looks like his "being a friend of David Meyer and the boys that kept him out of the line of fire for the robocalls stratagy" laid an goose egg once again.

How does the "vision" look being 6th in a 9 person field, O man of vision,

    what an arrogant pompous ass.

  9. you guys are being a little hard on Bob.

    actually, your bing pretty shitty!

He's trying to serve and that's a good thing.

    ReplyDelete
  10. anon 1137: you say of Bob ... "He's trying to serve"

Yes, but that's the problem. He is serving Jerome and his own ego, not the best interest of the citizens or even his own vision of environmental sustainability.

Bob ... You're better as a commentator and columnist. Please don't run again.

  12. great job keeping the blog real J.P.

Still early with only 36% votes counted.

    early story lines.

    1. Rachelle did worse than expected, Bob say your sorry.

    2. The Union Trib and the Republican party endorsed Harriot. She ran dead last of the active candidates and finished 9th. The paper and party endorsements don't mean shit. I am amazed that they are so coveted.

    3. Maggie friggen rocks!! most popular politician in Encinitas other than perhaps Pam Slater Price. Once again she should pay Oiler for helping her get elected. these clowns are better than campaign managers! Do you think Oiler and Meyers know each other. I'd love to see magpie go up angainst Danny boy for the heavyweight crown of Encinitas.

    4. Mike Andreen and the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce fucked up the sand tax thing in a huge way last election. Ithink they are 0 for 5 including Lou and John for council, Jim for assembly, the Ecke Prop, and the sand tax prop.

Steve Aceti asked for a chance, and worked his ass off and got it passed. 2/3rds is a huge hurdle to get over and he did. I know he is not a popular fiqure in the blog but he kicked ass this election on this issue. So Props Sand Man.

    5. Bob.......geeez! Stick to the coffee and stage.

  13. Rachelle is such a spoiler for Bob. Just add up their two votes and Bob would be ahead of Maggie. Smooth move Maggie and Teresa putting someone in the race to hurt Bob's chances. Serves you right.

  14. Collier was the spoiler, she killed Nanniga chances of winning.

Let's check Collier for needle marks, she is obviously shooting up, to think she even had a chance to win!

    I hope it's a clean needle...

    ReplyDelete
  15. Wow, low blow with the needle comment. Let's check the tally. Bob runs 3 times, loses 3 times. Meanwhile, Bonds and Stocks are reelected again, to sit on the regional water board and Regional Transportation Board. I guess from now on we'll just have to find some Non-Bonds and Stocks unity, because that's the reality of all these people running. The intentions are good, but the result is pompous and sleepy are back for 4 more years.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Maybe Bond will forget what City he lives in and not show up.

    Two Facts-

    1. Bonds move to lie and run in the race took a seat from Long. The old Plummer has to be pissed about that one. 2 more years and hundreds of meetings without saying anything and being the lurker in the corner with no weight to his presence.

    2. Rachelle received more votes than Bob. Bob was the spoiler.

    Sad day for Encinitas.

Its time to start looking and acting like Carlsbad. Thanks Bob.

  17. Wow-

Maggie spanked Jerome and James with a huge bitchslap voting result - TROUNCHED!!!!

Even with Jerome being Mayor and spending big developer and employee union money on the campaign, he still gets his ass whipped.

That shows how much hatred is out there for this guy and people are starting to see the demon behind the cloth.

Get the word out that Jerome is a borrow and spend politician and is bankrupting Encinitas. In four years, Encinitas will be singing the financial blues due to all the massive pensions we are paying, and the Citizens will easily see that it’s Jerome Stocks fault.

The sellout of Encinitas, Jerome Stocks. Is back in for another 4 years.

Expect the Rail road property conditions to get worse with him involved. I agree a sad day for Encinitas.

  19. It's no shocker that the same people have been voted back in. How can one confidently vote for a candidate when they know absolutely nothing about the candidate? I'm talking aboiut all candidates here. How about when someone is running for office they disclose how they are voting on their personal ballot on all measures and candidates? That would truly reveal who and what kind of person they really are....

For the record this long time Encinitas homeowner left all council ballots empty. And yes I scoured all the information possibilities I could about all candidates and still came to this conclusion. I know at least a dozen smart people who did same.

    Politics are comical.

  20. You Monday Morning Quarterbacks miss the obvious; the true reason that Bond got back in the race is that Maggie ran around for several months prior to the election telling city employees she didn't like that they were toast the moment he was gone and that is a fact. Day after day there was a long line of weeping people barging into his council office begging him to come back one more time so they and the city would not be left to the unbridled power that Maggie would have if Rachelle gave her a third vote on the council.

If she could have kept her big mouth shut until Bond really was retired, you kool-aid drinkers might have had another Sheila Cameron.

As it is; the employees have two more years to sleep peacefully. And the park will be built.

She just couldn't keep her mouth shut; blame her not Bob.

  21. OK. Silly Season is over.
Let's work together to improve our lives.
The hate does not help you or anyone.

  22. My predictions -

Either within 2 years or 4 years, Encinitas will be pimping a sales tax increase like all the other Cities, crying that they cannot possibly make ends meet because the cost of our so valuable employees retirement pension plan is so great.

Get ready, council will be looking to sell more bonds and get the City in bigger debt for the regional sports complex and will be looking for money to shore up the huge costs for the employees’ pension program and free healthcare for life.

More bad news is we will have to watch poor James Bond deteriorate right before the public’s eyes for the next four years. That’s not going to be pretty. Pretty sad in IMHO.

The really good news is that in four years, there will certainly be an open seat for the election.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I smell sweet pay raises and fat pension benefits to come!!! Whoa yeah!!! Thanks to all the voters of Encinitas from your city employees.

Don't forget we are closed this Friday!!

  24. Hatred is sometimes good. It inspires a normally complacent person to act. America is full of complacency and dependency these days and that’s the root problem.

Any action to counter complacency and dependency is good in my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yes.... I can retire at 55 with full pay! Thanks Guys! …… Jerome, Jerome he’s are man, if he can’t do it, nobody can…..Yeah Jerome!!!!

I think we will now need to focus on closing city hall every Friday in the name of energy conservation!

  27. Bob-

You are all over the map. No one can believe you even care about Leucadia anymore. I am very disappointed in your comments against the need and the value of streetscape.

With these types of comments there is no way I could vote for you again. Sorry but you lost my vote in 2010 and I will be supporting some other candidate in future elections.

    What happened to you?

Thank you for posting on the Leucadia Blog.
