  4. Come one, come all, to help chop up fruit for the pedal powered smoothie machine for Encinitas Environment Day on Sunday. It will be at my house, and you will get to meet and greet the infamous Dr. Lorri. It doesn't get much better than that now, does it? Call me for the address. 760-436-6798. All kidding aside, we could use some help. Cardiff Seaside Market has generously donated the fruit and juice, so please thank them if you get the opportunity. They have done so many things for Enciinitas. Thanks Pete and John.

  10. BE sure to check out Fresh, the movie, on Saturday at 2pm at the Encinitas Library community room (part of the film festival).

I had my car serviced at Encinitas Foreign and Domestic car service today and they were giving complimentary movie tickets.

  13. very nice post, but...not to be the Spelling Police, but.... Bob's name is spelled:

    NANNINGA

he was a pal, so I had to point this out. Thamx

  14. Not to be the Spelling Police Chief, but it's spelled "Thanks" not Thamx. And don't give me that "i before e, except after c" nonsense.

  15. using the word "Thamx" was a joke, and what's wrong with spelling the name of someone correctly who was such a big part of this town? Maybe you should become a vegetarian, Meathead.

  16. I want to publically apologize for the situation that revolved around the stage yesterday at the EE Day Fair. My husband and I were asked to do the sound, and we were going to get paid, but the band, Endangered Species, apparently didn't think we knew how to run a PA to their specifications, so they got there early and set up all their equipment, and took over the whole stage. They were rude, showed no respect for the stage manager, and one was smoking his filthy cigarettes non stop to the point I got a headache which continues today. Thanks a lot ya jerk. Then they hogged the stge for a full three hours. And they were too loud. As it was me who got them the gig, I take full responsibily.

Just goes to show you don't always see the real person until a critical situation pops up. Hope it was worth it guys, cuz it won't happen again.

Thanks to Seth and the group Jasmine, for ending the day on a high note. And thanks to John and Anne for putting up with such nonsense.
