Another funny one is to read the first letter in this week’s Coast News. Our own village Idiot, Lynn Braun Marr, goes on one of her notorious babbling modes about the forthcoming streetscape.
I kind of feel sorry for her. Since she can't understand how a yield sign works and really should not drive an automobile.
I wish one of the 20,000 people going through roundabout a day in Encinitas would take her for a drive and show her how stress free they can be when you can open your mind and don't think everyone’s out to get you.
I sure wish Leucadia was missing its Village Idiot like some town in Texas.
One thing for sure, when I saw Lynn Brauns name tied to the Encinitas Anti-Chamber effort along with the Rick and Ray grumps..... I knew the Streetscape will be a good thing for Encinitas.
Let me guess the next post rebutting this one will be from “Save the Canopy”, or “Bonddi” or one of her many Syble aliases
I saw that letter, too. It is amazing how some people who do not have their facts straight can be so adamant to share their misconceptions. I have viewed the Rick/ Ray rambling petition and found many misleading and/or untruths. ie: Leucadia Blvd. closing at the tracks, businesses taken by eminent domain, choke points,(roundabouts), and more. There are others, for what end I don't know, are writing and publishing fictitious information. We need to be well informed and comment on the misinformation that is being spread. Support the Streetscape.
"Everyone is invited to attend the Chamber of Commerce streetscape meeting at the library from 6pm-8pm this Wednesday the 3rd of December." That's not what their Mike, Bob, Ray, Rick and Gary show blurb says. The Chamber meeting is instead LIMITED to Chamber members and a select few who ALL have to RSVP first because of the "Hundreds of businessmen" who will be in attendance. In other words, there will probably be the fire dept present to make sure the throngs don't get large enough to trample anyone. It's obvious they don't want certain property owners in attendance. I've got more important things to do and don't have time for their lynch mob drama anyway. Good luck screwing Leucadia out of our Streetscape, guys.
Why do you not get it? Roundabouts are not preferred by a majority or even a minority of residents of our town. Just a few of you like them. They are traffic cloggers and would forever change 1o1. Get your streetscape, just without roundabouts.
Drive up Leucadia Blvd. What intersection do you stop and wait or is clogged and what intersections do you drive directly through? It is safer for cars, bikes and people. Please explain why you think they are not safer and more effective.

What forever changed 101 through Leucadia/Encinitas/Cardiff was stop signs and stop lights. Roundabouts do not clog traffic but by far facilitate better circulation of traffic. Do you know how many days of your life are spent behind cars at stop lights/signs? Life's too short for those real cloggers as you're pouring carbon monoxide into the atmosphere (unless of course the one exception, if you multi-task coming up with a cure for cancer while you're waiting).
To all those who bash Lynn Braun: Dear Aholes: You are so right and I don't blame you for being an AHole cause obviously you wouldn't want to be personally responsible for your comments. Lynn Braun is so vocal, and passionate, and just too much on top of all this City is doing that she must be stopped! When her comments are made, we feel the need to circle the wagons and defend our positions, cause there might be one area unprotected from the voice of reason and morality.
I, myself, say, Hooray Lynn Braun, and keep up your comments. Don't let the AHoles on this blog discourage your passion and free speech. All comments and points of view should be welcome and if there is disagreement, get beyond grade school and try to debate the issues not the messenger. Peace and Aloha

I think you three are the classic chatter boxes who drive everyone else crazy by your factless babble and then claim anyone with opposing views doesn't believe in the 1st amendment right.

I can't believe Diane Bond is so rude to call a bunch of people who love Leucadia "Aholes". I feel that is childish and rude.
Your bash the crap out of many including Jerome, City Attorney, and many others in Encnitas. And then when someone says something negative against one of your freinds or patients, you get all defensive and say people our childish for attaching the messenger.
I'm happy I can provide some comedy for the blog. I think of it as my own personal way of adding someone else to attack or insult, other than Lynn. IMHO, she and Russell got "screwed" big time by this City, and I will probably always help her out if I can. Have any of you had the courage to put your name on a Letter to the Editor, or even on this blog? If I read correctly, someone thinks Jerome and Glenn are the "good guys" . What an interesting turn of events.
I wouldn't say I think those two are "good guys". I think history has shown quite the opposite. I was just pointing out that all people have a right and should express their opinions.
